I originally didn't think I'd have time to finish this, but I saw that Cylithren extended the deadline for her contest, so I finished this up quickly.... So I hope it still counts? XDMy inspiration came from Lady of Worlds by Miracle of Sound, which can be found here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=43FnCO…
This is for 's contest. I love this song, and it's one of Sirla's theme songs, so I had a lot of inspiration for this. I have no idea if Sirla's powers actually involve snow, so if they don't, then I guess she's just looking cool in a snowstorm XD The lines "A flicker of wild eyes" and "I spin to and fro" were two key lines that inspired her pose and the overall atmosphere of the drawing. The line "gifts I can't control" made me imagine her with an intense facial expression and a dynamic background, even if the swirling snow isn't actually her "gift."
I had a lot of fun drawing this so I hope you like it ^^
