Description
this version depicts the wizard unveiling his true identity. I thought a giant powered wizard outfit would be more interesting than a pulled back curtain.Related content

splendid. there was another interpretation of the wizard's "true" form in the book Wicked, different in detail but similar in idea.

Dood!!! That is freakin' awesome, I love it! That would so freaking rock in a modern wizard of oz. Perhaps, with your permission of course, it could become a future comic of mine...
Keep up the astounding work!

I plan to remake the film myself someday... but the world isn't ready for a remake yet. When I do, its going to be closer to the style of Disney's "Return to Oz" which was much darker than the MGM version. I think L.F. Baum intended the story to be much darker originally. I'm a bit of an Oz historian and am very facinated by your interpretation. I'm going to add it as a :: and I'll remember you when I finally start preproduction in a few years.

How interesting. We're watching Oz in my US Hist. class, for the Progressive Era and the gold/silver standard problems we had.

Holy Moses Malone, is that cool or what? I love anything taking a traditional idea and presenting it in a new way, and this is no exception. Suddenly I want to see your take on all the rest of the characters.
