I plan to remake the film myself someday... but the world isn't ready for a remake yet. When I do, its going to be closer to the style of Disney's "Return to Oz" which was much darker than the MGM version. I think L.F. Baum intended the story to be much darker originally. I'm a bit of an Oz historian and am very facinated by your interpretation. I'm going to add it as a :
