Description
This was a long time coming, but I got an anatomy commission by the ever great and creative VoraciousPanda for my sona's Noodle's digestive/respiratory system! I just asked for a lined sketch so that I could have the pleasure of figuring out the colors for it! And apparently to doodle Noodle commenting on her own weird insides. It was great practice and now I have the perfect reference for Noodle when I draw internals of her myself.
But I know what ya'll are here for. Ya'll are here with one question. What the fuck is going on here? So onto it! Noodle anatomy 101!

1.) Noodle has two throats! One being a primary throat like typical animals, but also a second entry airway located under her tongue. You can't normally access the second throat, being more an exit point for the contents of her first 'stomach'. Anything she swallowed solely goes into her main throat.

2.) Her entire upper torse is filled with her lungs while all her stomachs are in her lower more animalistic body. She needs big lungs as she spends a lot of time in the air as well and helps her maintain buoyancy.

3.) One of Noodle's stranger abilities is being about to absorb drawings on her fur and manifest them into a real version of the drawing subject. This is achieved through a manifestation chamber and the first of her stomachs. Literal creative juices will remain black until activated, then glowing a bright orange as it heated up and takes shape at whatever she's making. This is where that second throat under her tongue comes in. So just spits out whatever she made using that smooth tube!

4.) The main throat leans into her second stomach. This middle stomach is used for storing living prey and anything else she swallows that isn't food. This is where the garbage happens. Prey can stay comfortably in there as long as they (or Noodle) want! The walls shared between here and the other stomachs are actually transparent, allowing any prey inside to see whatever is going on both above and below. Like windows to her inner workings!

5.) And finally, we have her final and most normal of her organs. This stomach is solely used for digestion and processing food. It's connected through a completely separate valve than her safe stomach so there in no possibility for accidental digestion of anything that isn't meant to be there. But after large meals the heat can be felt through the 'floor' of her safe stomach and things are broken down naturally.

Annnd there you have it! Noodle inside and out! I really and so happy this got visualized after so long of imagining it in my head. And I also wanna get a really big shout out to Panda/Ollie who helped my figure out the parts I really couldn't like the throat setup! Thank you so much for working wit me to make this happen!
