Sara always wears flowers in her hair, not because she is a hippy, but because I want to remind the readers of the comic that she is the earthly form of the Holy Lady (which is a sort of tree with a human face).The concept of love in the comic is super simple: two characters meet and BOOM they fell desperately in love with each other. And their love lasts unshaken until their last breath (possibly even after). No love affairs, no cheating, no adulteries, no doubts, no triangles or other polygons: either it was true love from the first sight, or it wasn't love at all.

Oh-ho-ho brother, this world just BEGS for nazys to bash a bit of sense into it.
As for love, well I guess then it fits for this world, but it really makes this world not really worth living in it. Everything seems to happen on purpose, everyone has their place in an invisible plan, everything is decided, even trivial things such as love or mere affection. There's nothing to work for, there's no use of it, the Holy Lord, Lady Fortuna, Fate, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, whatever, got you covered. You have a destiny to fulfil, whenever it brings you endless joy or groveling in the gutter, it's not up to you.
Not that I wouldn't mind the best life handed on a silver platter, but knowing my luck I would get only crap and without the ability to change it...

This time.. I have to say you got it wrong but the story is so long, and unfolds so slowly that this misunderstanding is perfectly comprehensible...
What you're arguing here is the problem of the free will against predestination. (which, as you will see, is irrelevant for this story).
Whether they fell in love with each other because they have been previously in love in "heaven", or it just happened "again" or by mere chance, it doesn't matter. None of them remembers of their past life, therefore nothing that has happened before has any influence on what they do now.
Moreover, among the many irrational human behaviours, love is certainly one of the most erratic and unpredictable. It happens, that's all we know.

You said, that it's up to the reader to decide whenever it believes in the mystic world or not and the story could be explained without them by logic... however this cannot be.
Without any predestination he's nothing but a fat, depressed, naive, epileptic pansy, who's mere existence is a great mystery and a doubt also... no one falls into that guy, this just doesn't happen, not without proper reason and put aside his personality, his background isn't the most appealing nor his race... he's just a fat, depressed, naive, epileptic pansy who got bumped into someone... almost every culture reacts to this with silent scorn, ignoration or being sent to warmer places.

But again, I'm probably too cynical to understand love, so who knows? Besides you wrote how this works on Iha, so I think I just have to live with that.... somehow.

Oh! I peluche di Azul e Abad sono bellissimi e pucciosi, li voglio! Che bella Sara, fra l'altro. E poi è fighissimo che il corpo che ospita l'Holy Lord si innamora della forma terrena dell'Holy Lady! Geniale!
Davvero particolare il concetto di amore in questo fumetto, ma mi piace, sento che sarà molto gradevole... nel mio sarà completamente al contrario, triangoli e poligoni come se piovessero, i dubbi sono al centro di tutto, ma non è roba da soap opera... è un pò più... ehm, particolare. E alla fine l'amore trionfa comunque. (Ops. Spoiler).

As for you philosofy of love, I fully agree with you.
Love that is able to be shaken or tampered with easily is not true love.
I try not to emphasize much in the mean of romance in my stories.

Comunque Stilfser qui sembra scioccato/sorpreso, mentre Sara sembra aver già capito come andrà (ha uno sguardo leggermente malizioso).
Tra le altre cose, conosci un'azienda che produce peluche? Perché il LI VOGLIO i peluche di Azul e Abad. Magari gli attacco ad una di quelle molle giganti e faccio il mio personalissimo "coniglio infinito"

The basic idea is that the "divine" form of the characters (i.e. the Holy Lord, the Holy Lady, Azul, Abad, Syandana, etc) they all made a mistake or got something wrong.. and when they will come down to earth, they will have to understand their mistakes, try to fix them and learn a valuable lesson..
