I did say I would be uploading some emotes, and here's my starter! This took me all day to complete, and it was all worth it! I know that isn't the exact shape of the Eiffel Tower, but don't talk unless you can do better
Most of the emotes in this tower are my originals, but I included modified versions of others that already exist (such as
and 
). Sorry if you can't see the expressions of the emotes that well. I did try 
.So let me know what you think. Anything I can improve? Anything wrong with the layout (aside from not looking exactly like the eiffel tower), what? Please tell me! Oh, and enjoy the pic, too
.By the way, for those wondering, no I have not been up the real Eiffel Tower. I might be able to go for my 18th birthday, however. Let's hope! If I do go, I don't want to go up in the summer or winter, for obvious reasons.
EDIT: So far all the comments I've received on this deviation involve it being animated. I personally agree that the flag on top would be awesome if it were, but I was too lazy to animate it

It looks like the eiffel tower but i think the shape could be improved, here is my suggestion for it: [link]
Then i think that your shading looks a bit odd, especially the dark emotes, you can't see some of their expressions. Oh and i think it would be better if you use a darker tone of the main colour for the outline instead of black. I also noticed that you only used very saturated colours, try using less saturated colours. Here is a good tutorial about that: [link]
The dark area of the shading should be a bit smaller, try to use more space between each colour stages so you don't end up having a so much space left: [link]
You could also try to experiment with different colours: for example you could go from orange to red (on the base) here is an example with my base shading: [link] (the combination between the colour looks more interesting than the colours on their own or?)

I'll definitely have to go check out some of those tutorials you linked! They may help.
by the way, I am well aware of some of the problems you pointed out (such as the shape not being too accurate and some expressions not being too visible), though I'm still a bit confused about the saturation thing.
