Marshes have a beauty all their own. In this, a bird flies up from its place on the water.

This piece means a lot to me because the brushes created this picture- I created a set of brushes by hand, from tanning the upcycled hide to aligning hairs tediously into bundles, tying, gluing, and assembling into wooden deadfall handles from outside. All I did was test each brush several times on scrap paper, trim the final brushes, and then this piece came out. Because of that I'm very quietly proud of myself
