TBH these three canon characters are the most positive importance in Ellie's story.Sierra - her best friend; similar to a Katie/Sadie friendship, though they are capable of separation.
Topher - Her neighbor, close like brother/sister, and her partner on the Ridonculous race
Jacques - the love of her life (though not her first boyfriend; they say third time's a charm), has gone through more ups and downs with him than any other person (romantically or friendship wise).
Of course she has other people who are important in her life who are canon characters, but they're not positive influences.

Hello there, I apologize that this is late.
I have no issue with Jacques being " yours ", as he is a fictional character. However, what is not okay, is that you insult my character for the simple reason of him being " yours " and taking this serious. It's not mature to insult someone or their character for that simple thing. Many people will ship their oc(s) with canon characters. Regardless if that character is who you claim as " yours " or not, and if it is the one you claim as your Kawaii desu ne wifeu/husbando, it is not okay to bash on their character. I put a lot of time into Ellie, to make her a dynamic character who has friends of various types of people. Sure Ellie is not perfect, but she shouldn't BE perfect. So what if she dates Jacques? That shouldn't matter, because he is a fictional character. I don't " own " him, and honestly neither do you. Only the creators of Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race own him. Insulting someone for choosing a certain canon character to be their oc's love interest is immature and highly frowned upon.
I will not make Topher and Jacques gay for your pleasings simply because you think my oc is orrible ( I really hope you meant horrible ), as I do not see Topher as a gay man, and I do not see Jacques as gay either ( maybe he is bi, but I only see Topher as heterosexual ). It goes against my views on the characters, and no I do not hate the LGBTQ+ ( I am actually apart of that group as a queer person on my own ).
I really do hope you have matured since Dec. 18, 2015 at 4:22 PM. If this was some kind of " joke ", it was not funny and I advise it not be done again towards me and my artwork and characters.

Honey bunny, being obsessed with someone or something does not mean the character is " gay " or " straight " for them- in Sierra's case, she is in love with Cody and wants to be HIS.
Topher is not in LOVE with Chris, he is in love with who he is and what he does- he doesn't want to be his, he wants to BE HIM.
Wanting to BE someone is different from wanting to be WITH someone.
Again, I hope you're just really bad at a running gag of how you oh so must have Jacques all to yourself or he must be gay. It's selfish and rude to insult a person's hard work all because of " your wants ". (-:
