drawn 2004My friends and I were still rabid MvC2 fans then and we wanted a better storyline for the game, lucky them I had one in mind eversince I started playing the game, all it needed was a bit of update and a little fixing.
Sadly, they couldn't fit in their schedules sometime to talk about it... depressed me really plus the designs they were submitting didn't match the theme for the story... I was also under the LOTR spell before so I forced the characters into having a fantasy like make over... How difficult is that? There's like tons of referrences on-line but they didn't bother to do some research. So it ended. No pages were drawn... thought I could pull it off on my own but school work was drowning me... so here's whats left of the project.
Should I name them? Well some are quite obvious, a Marvel 'No Prize' for the first to name them all XD
I got the other characters drawn but all in rough sketches. In the story we made our favorite characters gods and godesses... and there's 4 Storm's for every season since we all like Storm...

this is a really cool concept! i really like how spiral came out. in fact, it was she who made me double-take and read comments to find out exactly who these characters were lol

Haha, It required tons of practice... even now, I should still be practicing... s'why I'm feeling guilty cause I haven't really been drawing anything for months... I'm fixing my mom's house doing some make over painting and carpentry... tsss! Sure I could pay someone to do it but I like being hands on everything I do... After I'm done here I'll get back to drawing

wow, good luck with the house! i really hate doing home improvement things. (but then when i do, i get this sense of accomplishment i rarely get from other tasks, i dunno...)

Bleh! I'm actually editing some of my previous posts... updating them based on the comments. So what I'm saying is you should just keep on posting and pick out advises you can use to improve... Well you'll never know what's right nor what's wrong if you don't let people see it

Nice, feels like a true comic layout. Nice linework and coloring, you do the job well. But whats with all the noise you added? Is that a product of the watercolors?
Great job btw, watercolors were always tough for me.

I used crayons on the other characters, by itself, had noise. When I did the bg on photoshop, it felt wird to see it so smoothly done... well I guess I once agin overdid the noise? but it just didn't look right with out it T_T

Eh cnu naman final boss sa story nyo? Si phoenix LOLZ. Sana capcom naman na character yung final boss katulad ni Pyron or Jeddah or SHIN AKUMA!!!

Ginawa yata namin tauhan si Pyron... basta madami kami sinali from Dark Stalkers, You guess'd it, siempre kasdam si phoenix pero di ko ginawang omnipotent si jean, psychic mage sha na may alagang Phoenix... parang Dumbolder... resident witch ng adventurers na sila Ruby heart... demet nawawala kaya notes ko dito, ganda pa naman nun... Sabi nga nung kabarkada ko since we were doing so much make over, why not we start making original characters... eh Tae pala siya eh, eh di nawala yung point nung comics, nag-mukang super rip-off lang nung gagawin namin kung i-le-label namin yung familiar characters with other synonymous AKA's... I think dun nagsimula yung pagbagsak nung project... Hehehe...

This looks sweet! I love how the darkness of the sky really accents the colors of their outfits. I don't know MvC2, but this picture makes me want to find out more. All the characters look awesome!
