I really enjoyed this comic, I can't wait to see Lin and Issac doing father-son stuff in the future.
Also the ending peaceful was great.

This could not have ended better.

No, I'm serious. Lin is now pretty much besties with his father now and understands the hardships he had to endure because of Isaac's stupid mistakes in the past. He's proud that his father is taking the initiative to make up for his wrongs and be a better person which I'm super happy about. Good on him that he's actually trying; most estranged fathers, especially after similar events Isaac committed, wouldn't budge a finger for their kids.

The selling point for me was Melba's reaction to Isaac and Lin's relationship. When she looks up at Isaac she scowls at him, and who could blame her? He basically left her to care for a child all on her own just to pursue his wrestling career. But then she looks at Lin and sees how happy he is to be next to his father cheering on competitors in the competition. And what does she do? She smiles. She's glad Lin has found good ground with his father and is so unbelievably happy to be with him, and that makes her happy.

I know the love between Isaac and Melba has all but gone, but hope that one day in the future the two at the very least forgive and forget about their past and become friends.

(Though no complaints here if they do end up back together!  It'll take some time but who knows?)

On a smaller note, the Incinium Z-crystal Isaac gave Lin. I'll assume that because of this, Poppy and Rowan will eventually get their own Z-crystals as well from other people, meaning both Poppy and Rowan might get stories of their own which I'm super pumped about! The question is who will they get their crystals from anyway?

...I'm looking at you, Kyogre Lady who may or may not be a certain missing woman.

And I fully support OP Stufful child. Isaac would have gotten his shit rekt. Praise be Melba.

Until then, looking forward to more asks answered and especially Cosmog Baby coming out soon!
