This is a wonderful piece! It shows Italy as someone else, someone other than a permanently happy person. The art is very well done. The detail indicates care and effort, yet the simplicity does not overwhelm the viewer. The sky shows light coming through, as if sadness is being replaced with a more positive attitude (love, maybe), and Italy comes to terms with the death of HRE.
The coloring makes the piece not depressing, and HRE shows that he cared for Italy when he kisses his hand. This piece is beautiful with its simplicity and detail literally, with a complicated message under the surface.

This caught my eye almost immediately when looking through random Hetalia art. It's beautiful and amazingly done. Now, on to the important parts...
Vision: Stunning! I love the colors, but I feel like it would have hit the ball if you made the colors a bit less bright. Pale colors make everyone feel sad. Heck, even black and white makes me get hints of depression. Otherwise, amazing :3
Originality: First time I've ever seen something like this before, so very original! I mostly see Chibitalia with Holy Rome, so this puts a twist on my mindset. Love the idea X3
Technique: Looks very much like the style used in the anime, so that technique is awesome! I love the spots of sunlight near HRE's feet along with the sunlight shining down on them. Very good work e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="
" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title="
(Smile)"/>
Impact: I can't even put this into words. I was very impacted by this piece; not just by how well done it was, but by the idea and sadness. Anyone can tell lots of effort was put into this amazing piece of wonderful artwork e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Overall, I LOVE IT! You did an amazing job, and made the piece wonderful in its entirety.

Wow, thank you! It does not have to be sad, because they met after all, even it was for the last time.

This is my first critique, Holy Roman Empire's last goodbye really has an impact on Italy. Even as the years pass, HRE is still there. The background and coloring fits perfectly. It can speak to anyone and everyone's hearts. This art should truly deserve a favorite and a watch. And the history between them helps the artwork. Holy Roman Empire and Italy still miss each other, even after centuries. I love it. I just want to write a story about them and use this image as the main image for a story. This work of art is beautiful. Truly amazing. <3

W-whaaa! Waa! ; ;
It's...it's.... so beautiful! ;A;
Well, I really liked the sun getting through the clouds! And Italy's tears, I don't know, I just liked them way too much! <3
The wings, they certainly look nice! But also pfff, those hands...hhngg, they look so beautiful, little babies.
I see you put a lot of effort in this! I can't stop looking at Italy's uniform, it looks awesome!
I also liked how Holy Rome's feet are barely visible. Pff, piece of art, I must admit it <3
Sorry for not giving 5 stars at everything...forgive me ;A;
I like their positions, because yes (?)
So, very nice job, dear! Hope you keep improving~! Have a good day! ^^

Your work is one of the most touching Hetalia fanarts I've ever encountered.
Everything in your work is very beautiful, from appearance down to the core.
I must admit that I shed a tear or two when I saw this, knowing how Italy felt when he missed HRE. How HRE held Italy's hand and kissing it shows how much he really cares for Italy.
I have no other words to describe your work of feels. So I must apologize for such a short critique.
Overall, it's such a wonderful piece. You have my vote on this. A job very well done e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="

This piece is beautiful. To me it shows Italy's true form and not his disguise he shows every day. The colors are vibrant and if you look close enough you can see HRE's feet. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="
" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title="
(Smile)"/> It's hard to describe. It's like an oxymoron, simple and detailed. Happy, but sad. To me Italy shows what all of us truly are. We are sad, happy, lonely, excited, hungry, desperate humans, but is shown through Italy's persona. You my fellow artist have done a fantastic job of showing how beautifully lonely Italy is because of someone he loved. This is beautiful as art. :3

You know, I'm not even a big supporter of either HRExItaly or GerIta, but this picture is simply amazing. I must say, I felt my heart break a little, and I can't help but feel a bit sad.
Though, I'd recommend that you should have used some paler/more grey colours. You know, some sad colours, because it would have a greater impact to the one seeing the picture. The colours in the picture right now are absolutely delicious ^7^ I love them, I really do, but it kind of contradicts with the sadness in the picture. Also, the grass could have been a bit more detailed. Nothing is REALLY wrong with it. It's just very... simple. Again a contradiction, this time towards the details in the characters, who are greatly made (not mentioning Italy's arm, it's a bit long, and his feet are just a tiny bit small XD don't worry about that, though, they still look fine, both of them ^^) I would also had loved some more detailed clouds, but it might have taken the attention from the characters, so I'm not gonna step on that.
All in all, I liked the picture a whole lot. A good job, indeed. The colours could have been a bit more matching to the scene, but that's nearly the only thing that bothered me just a tiny bit. Beautifully done!

Hello! This is my third time I write a critic so...I'm going to critic the best I can.
This is beautiful~ It shows so much emotion and it gives the feels. It's beauty is hard to describe but it's sad and beautiful. The pain Italy feels must be a lot and this is very touching to the heart. It reminds me of my dog that died and I had to let go. Everyone who will see this wonderful piece of art will be touched and will feel like crying. Even though it's sad it's very beautiful. Keep drawing more beautiful art and I hope my review made sense because I usually don't make sense~ Ve~
