History:
Orphaned at the tender age of twelve Vanessa became dependent on the skills of thievery in order to survive the city streets of New York. As time passed she realized she was being watched, analyzed by officers of the law, granted they could have caught and arrested her at any given moment but figured she'd be of greater use to them as a snitch in tern she'd get free food, clothing and education, something she wasn't granted, so Vanessa accepted.
Years later Vanessa graduated high school, feeling like she learned enough schooling she decided to join the military at the ripe age of eighteen. She started as a lower ranked grunt, but found herself rising above her mates rather quickly, besting everyone in skill, knowledge and sheer will, but it seemed not even this could satisfy her, she wanted more, and heading out on the front lines fulfilled her appetite.
War was her calling, leading even more so and she soon found herself in the spot of general officer, and at such a young age, however the many deaths of comrades cost her her sanity in grave amounts. Due to frequent mental break downs she was placed on temporary leave.
