1. Gloves have been tweaked here and there in order to control her powers concussive blasts that were at one point only able to be maintained by forming them into the shapes of red X's. With that being said the gloves also enhance her powers more, giving her incredible bone crushing strength.

2. The belt is for show but it's also a first-aid-kit for minor scrapes and cuts

3. Her choker acts as a voice alter making her sound like anyone she comes into contact with, (the choker analyzes said person's voice and assimilates it into it's memory banks). It's a good way to catch someone off guard in battle or just pranks....

4. Vanessa's old shoes were thrown out and replaced with newer much more high tech combat boots. They're able to withstand even the worst of terrains.

5. The soles of the combat boots are made of a metal alloy that acts as a type of insulation when it comes into contact with heat or bitter cold. It's almost indestructible so every two years it must be replaced.

6. Knee pads are just need pads... very sturdy knee pads....

7. Pants are less tight and more loose, giving her more comfort on the battle field or in tournaments.

8. Vanessa likes to change up her hair sometimes just to do it...

Extra: I wanted to add that her her glasses got updated as well, she can now see the life signs of her teammates when in battle, before they were just used to keep her eyes safe from debris or heavy winds.
