Yeah I still can't get a clean line without help from a program, lately I spend most of my time just trying to get the thing to act like a pencil, that way I can at least get a decent sketch to clean up.

You can get a program like MangaStudio or Adobe Illustrator which has a tool to compensate for those shaky lines, I use MangaStudio which was pretty cheap and works well enough. Before I got that I was able to get by just using the pen tool in Photoshop. Sketch out a rough version, and then use the pen tool to lay down your final line. There's a few pen toolΒ tutorials you can find on YouTube, but long term I'd go for one of programs, all my recent stuff has beenΒ sketched on MangaStudio, colored in Photoshop
