when i was fourteen or fifteen, i found this tumorous tree poking out of a pavement in madrid. i was really into drawing with blue pencils at the time.the collage is frankensteined from old diary pages. woo!

There's something about those kinds of intricate little pencil illustrations that gets me every time. That kind of warm familiarity with traditional media, you know? You can really work into them. Even better when they're unfinished, haha~
Getting back to the roots (lol) of the whole process, drawing the shapes and flow of natural things. We've all drawn em, and it's really nice to see more of yours. Reminds me of your inky bird drawings, mm~ ;u;

Absoluuuuutely. Something very soothing and organic about making lines on paper. You can just let lines drift off into nothingness like cobwebs. Also it smells good.
We should have a good ink session one day lav... I'm thinkin a couple of pens and a couple of bare arms. Or tums. *eyebrows?!*
