Thanks again Sarah, I am attempting to use Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 and using the hints that people have been posting on createing but it's not going very well. What Photoshop program are you using?

I'm using GIMP (www.gimp.org/ ) for mac (it's also for windows though). It's a free photophop alternative of some sort. If you want I could try to record my screen so you can get a better idea of what I'm doing.

Yes if you don't mind. I have already download and installed the gimp software and tried to use it. But being able to resize the picture to the template that I downloaded from here at deviantart.
I am sending you another link for airwolf to work if you don't mind.

This is the cover of the box set. What I am looking at is cutting it just below the title "AIRWOLF", then when you look at there is a circle that says "16 Discs" bring the top down just below it. Then put the title (one with the black background) from the one I sent, up on the tab. That was my attempt using the gimp software it didn't work so well. I managed to get the title shunk down but to be able to match the tab color to it to blend sort of speak.
Again thanks for all the ones you have. Once I have "mastered" on how to do this I would be able to starting posting. Returning the favor to others who have posted their work.

Sarah, sorry for the delay in response. Here is a couple:
Blackstar: www.internationalhero.co.uk/b/β¦
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors: www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/imagesβ¦
M.A.S.K. : ecx.images-amazon.com/images/Iβ¦
The above are old cartoons that I managed to find and download but would like a folder icon created rather than use the dvd cover. Please let me know if you are able to do this, thanks in advance.

I just made them, what format do you prefer? I have a couple versions for some of them, I'll collect them in a zip and upload it.

Ok, thanks. As for format, would like to keep them both in png and ico. I use the ico format to change the folder icon to match the content. I download the series/episode to watch later. Again thanks. I'm still looking hard for some of the other shows which I'm not finding. Let alone looking for a good tutorial to teach me on how to make them myself. I am tech savy on using the computer and some software but not quite familiar on using things like photo shop or software that most people here on Deviantart use to create such great icons.

Here they are:Β nonstopsarah.deviantart.com/arβ¦
I'm not super satisfied with them, as I had trouble finding good images, so I hope you're happy with them
They are also not that difficult to make. I use GIMP (a free editor) and a template I found here.
Than it's just a matter of resizing the image, cropping and exporting it.Β

The Download button at the top right will download a rar file. This contains a png, icns and ico file of the icon.Β
