The doll who lost her color knows it doesn’t mean her world can’t be colorful, it also doesn't mean that she herself can't be colorful. You can still shine brightly even when times are hard. Color in your greying world and surround yourself with the colors that make you smile.”
I am finally posting this fun piece! This is over a year old at this point, but I still wanted to share it! This was to be a part of the Doll Hourglass art book but unfortunately the project fell through at the end and never got created. I had been sitting on the idea of sharing it at all and ultimately I have decided to. When I think about the idea behind the piece I feel like the greying world part of it was something I was sort of dealing with at the time because in my life it was one of my hardest points that year, going through being unemployed again after a very tough temp to hire position and I had already lost my previous long term job at the end of 2017 and on top of it my husband lost his long term job around that time, my world sure was grey during those moments! I am SO glad that I was still able to see the color around me and push through.
Also as this was supposed to be a charity book I want to put a friendly little bit about donating for cancer research, to any charity that you think will do good with that support. I think it is important that we all try our best to support each other in the best ways we can, and I think supporting charities is a wonderful way for all to help with even just the tiniest support, it all makes a difference! YOU CAN make a difference! In small color filled acts everyday, Thank you!
