NOT FINISHED!!!

I wasn't going to upload this until it was totally finished, but I couldn't wait. It's a head shot of an Australian Shepherd, one of my fave doggies! I'm thinking this is gonna be my new fursona, because huskies seem too... hyperactive. Aussies are more laid back. And they're versatile, too. They've been used as family pets, watchdogs, sled dogs, seeing-eye dogs, show dogs, and search-and-rescue dogs.

Shading this is so fun, but I tell you all: references are your FRIEND. Your BEST friend. It took me forever to get the collar shaded right.

Oh, and the eyes on this alone took me an HOUR. Because I actually went and got a mirror and practically gouged my eyes out trying to get the color right. And I tell you, I am sooo happy how they turned out because they're pretty much EXACTLY my real eye color. Yup. Blue-green.
