Description
Umami woke up from her nap, siblings close by her side. Her head had been aching for last couple of days, yet somehow this time upon waking up, she felt relief. It was strange indeed, but she wasn't complaining! Stretching for a moment, she'd feel her sister stir awake, Manakel's blue eyes fluttering awake. To her left, she saw both Seki and Crow conversing with each other.
Out of nowhere she felt her sister's weight shift form next to her, a gasp escaping from the bump nosed wyngling's mouth.
"Kel-"
"What... is that...?" She questioned with mild concern, eyeing what seemed to be Umami's face.
"Do... I have something on my head? A leaf?" She questioned, trying to reach for whatever was bothering the other 'ling.
"No, it's..."
Before Manakel could finish, Umami's claws made contact with the hard stub that petrudeded from her head, causing her to jump slightly.
"Ehh..." She cried uncomfortably, dropping her claw, trying her hardest to look at the horn herself.
From her peripherals, She could see her brother's looking at her with a curious expression, making their way towards her.
"Woah..." Crow muttered, eyeing the new growth before taking a seat. "Can... Can I touch it?" He asked, already reaching slowly with a claw.
Umami gave a slow nod, looking over to her sister.
"It's... not going to spread to me, is it?" she questioned, shooting a hair away from Umami.
"Is what going to spread to you?" Seki chimed, looking over for the source of the commotion. "Ah! A stub?"
"I think so... I.. can't really see it." The blue wyngling chirped, feeling fairly embarrassed due to the commotion.
"Hmm.. it... just appeared?" He added, placing a paw on his nose.
"Yes." She replied, squinting for a moment, "My head was hurting." She added, trying to piece together the puzzle.
"Do you feel sick?"
"Yeah, does it hurt?" Both Kel and Crow asked.
"Not anymore. My head feels kinda heavy... Kind of like if you took a stone and put it around my eyes." Uma tried to explain, " It's not a bad heavy, just once of those... I know it's there, so it bothers me, kind of heavy." Umami shrugged a bit, slowly but surely shrinking away.
"Ah... as long as you're alright." Kel added, placing a paw on her back. Umami relaxed a bit, dipping her head.
"Yeah"
"Exactly" Bother Crow and Seki added at the same time, closing on on their sibling and an odd cuddle pile.

HH i love these kids, they're so soft and sweet
