Description
"You got da sthash?" Thistle questioned, looking over to the cookie printed coatala and orange dappled puckoo
"Puckoo!" the creature called, taking a cooking and shoving it in it's mouth.
"Shhh!" she exclaimed, throwing a finger over her lips to silence the water bird.
"Warm..." the coat muttered quietly, Thistle throwing her green eyes up to see the coat with a small full jar of cookies.
"Oh chii!"
"War!" the coat shushed, using a peet to cover their mouth.
"Oh yeah... that be Alma's sekwet sthash. Oooh, those cwookies must be super-duper sweet!"
The coat nodded with a smirk, taking the jar into its jaws.
"koo~" the Puckoo cooed, the stuffed bird looking more than satisfied. Thistle chuckled, rolling her eyes before grabbing another cookie, shoving it in her mouth. The coat joined her on the counter, tilting it's head as if to ask if she could open to jar.
"Oh! Lemme~"
"Well, well, well... lookie what we have here" A smooth, mature voice mused, the three tensing up in intense fear. "Stealing cookies, are we?" She asked, despite already knowing the answer.
"A-Alma! I-"
"Looks like you have a couple of friends with you too. A coatala and..." Alma paused, purple eyes being shaded by her tuft of hair. "A P U C K O O?!"
The three thieves were washed with fear, watching as alma lifted her head with a crazed expression.
"You know what T H A T means!" Alma cried, pulling the Hat of Shame, seemingly from thin air.
"Alma, it not what it looks like. I was just! Uhh..." From the looks of it, Alma wasn't listening, the biped slowly making her way closer to Thistle with the hat in her claws.
"Uhh, Run!" Thistle cried, taking one last cookie for the road into her jaws and sprinting off, the coatala and puckoo following suit. Alma turned around, a twisted smile growing on her face. "Oh, no you don't." she mused, the Hat of Shame blinking before springing out of her grasp.
As the trio began their escape, something was off. The more they ran, the longer the halls would get! Thistle looked back with panic, noticing the Coatala riding her tail with the special stash still in their jaws. The puckoo however was falling far behind. despite this, it continued to run with all it's might!
Suddenly the ground began to shake, causing her to trip under her own feet. She didn't fall, however she slowed down enough that the coatala zoomed passed her. She didn't look down, but by the way the texture of the ground felt, she could tell the floor was cracking below her. The farther down the hall she looked, the darker it got. Something was extremely wrong.
"Thistle~" Alma called, still holding her crazed expression.
Thistle refused to look back, continuing to push forward with all her might.
Without warning, the worst noise any wyngro could imagine began to ring in her ears. The intense screeching of not one, not to, not even three, but dozens and dozens of gurps echoed throughout the area.
Thistle made the mistake of looking back, seeing a building sized alma stare her and her partners down. At the corner of her eye she saw the Hat of Shame... Jumping towards her! And a gurp running close behind it! Behind them was a see of gurps rushing towards the possy, turquoise fire exploding behind Alma and in front of the brunt of the flood, almost beckoning them to run faster through the flames.
"Oh chii" Thistle thought, quickening her pace, hopefully able to outrun the swarm.

ehhhh i know they said not to write a story for DTAs but i couldn't help myself XD The story's more tied to Thistle than the pet anyway, so it shouldn't be much of an issue!
