Shapeshifting water spirits who usually appear in human form. The spirit appeares in the myths and legends of all Germanic peoples in Europe.
Although in recent times such creatures have usually been depicted as manlike in shape (albeit in many cases shapeshifting), the English Knucker is generally depicted as a wyrm or dragon. <<

Nicor is an old water spirit. in the past she didn't have much to do with humans. she usually kept hidden in her waters. depending on her mood she either stayed hidden, helped fishermen to get a good catch or played pranks on them.

but in modern times, humans started to soil her waters and she got pissed.
that was when Nicor started to act like it's known from nixies. she lured people in the water to drown them, sunk ships and created inundations.
one day and Exorcist came by, tricked her and she became a familiar.
extremely annoyed by that fact and the beginning, they weren't really friends. but over the years Nicor got used to it, her personality calmed again thanks to the Exorcist's own calm personality and she didn't had the urge to drown everything in her sight anymore.
after the exorcist died due old age she almost immediately vanished. now she stays hidden around and in the rivers around the area of the academy.
like Blacky or Ukobach, Nicor is able to change her size. since she's a Nixie-like water spirit she's also able to change into a human appearance (it's kind of hard to lure people into the water if you just look like a monster )

stuff that didn't made on to the template:
- Nicor has dozens and dozens of siblings but most of them life in Gehenna.
- even if she hides most times in the woods around the academy, she sometimes pays a visit to the shops, mostly to get sugar.
- to get sugar cubes, Nicor usually tries to charm someone to buy it for her (but it doesn't work as well as by her siren sisters). if it doesn't work, she simply steals it.
- her roar sounds like the scream of whales.
- her scales shimmer like nacre.
- in folklores, it's said that the dresses of nixies always have a wet hem. in Nicor's case it's symbolised with aquaramine gems in form of drops.
