Finally it was time for one of Bad Boy’s bigger events. The Under the Sea Grand Prix. A showjumping course hosted inside of an aquarium.
Vera couldn’t believe what she heard when her brother Clemens told her what they’ve been signed up for.
“Under the sea.. A showjumping course inside of a goddamn fish tank Clem?”
All her brother could do was laugh and nod.

The young stallion would have to perform on a large stage with many horses far more experienced than him. Vera looked his way, and all BB could do was chew his lead rope. “You don’t have a clue luckily” Vera laughed along with her brother.

After quite a travel, BB stood happily eating in one of the temporary stalls. Not too long and they’d check out the course, tack up, warm up in the warm up ring and then shine under the many ocean critters.
Vera definitely wasn’t new to the show world, so apart from an inexperienced horse and the unique venue this was nothing but routine for her.
Clemens, Simon and her father traveled along to assist her and coach her through with the black stallion. A product of the Melhóre Real and Royal Performance Warmblood. It was an experiment from Mr. Schmidt but he couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Even with the few shows TOW Bad Boy had under his belt, the stallion was making quite the name for himself.

The preparations went by in a nick of time, the three riders worked as a well-oiled machine. Her father did his rounds of hellos with other stud farm and barn owners and before she knew she was mounted and Simon guided her to the warm up ring.
BB held his head high, made himself audibly known to the rest and with a loud snort started trotting.
He was not pushy, but strong and forward. Vera expected such a thing but what she didn’t expect was to witness a big brawl right in the middle of the warm up.

BB pinned his ears to the pair yelling and shouting. The already hyped stallion made himself twice and big as he was and suddenly turned into another well known TOW stud. Prancing around in passage, piaffe and god knows what. Roi had nothing on him.
“Jesus, can they be any less professional?” Vera calmly sat out the horses big and elaborate steps. So much for a calm and relaxing warm up.

Before she knew it and before BB knew it, it was their turn. The black stallion still hadn’t been able to fully relax again. But what the heck. Show time.

Vera and her horse looked around. And all the stallion could think was; what the fuck is this?!
