Thanks to extensive research by Hollow Earth Paleontologists, new information has been brought to light on the nature of the Megafauna that existed countless years ago in the Earth's center. Among the many new discoveries is the classification of new variations of Titanus Kong, very different from the living specimen we're all well acquainted with.

Variant B of the Titanus Kong species--dubbed "Blacksmiths"-- have a few stark differences compared to the usual physical composition of Variant A. Variant B specimens are more identical to modern day Mandrills/Baboons than Gorillas, with exception of a lack of tail or distinct coloration around the hindquarters. From measurements of two skeletons discovered so far, Variant B specimens could grow to be 277 feet tall as a fully grown adult and to 281 feet in the elderly stage of life--meaning that most of their natural predators/enemies easily dwarfed them. What Variant B specimens lacked in size, they made up for with unprecedented intense ferocity, agility greater than Variant A Kongs and remarkable intelligence. It is believed that Variant B Kongs were responsible for the construction of the infamous Hollow Earth Axes, using the skeletal remains of fallen Gojira. This is why the species has been dubbed "Blacksmiths" for the evidence of their tool-making skills.

While it's believed that this Variant is extinct judging by the skeletal remains discovered, 89% of the Hollow Earth remains unexplored and it would be no surprise to one day discover a live specimen in it's untamed lands.
