I've been working on my doujinshi again, so suddenly I wanted to draw Sesshomaru and Rin.
I know many look at them as a father and his daughter, but I kinda like them as a couple. Deal with it.

Rin and Sesshomaru's relationship is never described or showed as a father-daughter thing or either other way (that's fan made speculation). What I see according to both manga and anime facts, Sesshomaru is most likely to be Rin's protector, while Rin is considered as his ward; he truly cares for Rin and protects her from every harm, while Rin is devoted to him.Their relationship more accurately is classified as a Guardian/ward relationship, and it's unknown what will happen to them in the future. That's up to Rumiko Takahashi.
I support MoxeyFem's point: "I think father is a little too strong of a word for how he treats her. After all, there is no fatherly emotion or guidence that he gives her. I think we can agree that at most, Sesshoumaru is her protector. He doesn't feed or play with her; he just keeps her from harm, simple as that."
My P.O.V: I always considered Sesshomaru and Rin's relationship as a Guardian/ward relationship, because it is the most accurate classification for the two of them. Now, what I think about the events after The Final Act is that even though Rin will live under Kaede chan's custody as a practice for living with humans for some years, I really hope that when Rin gets older, she will decide to go with Sesshomaru, and still be thankful to Kaede and Inu's group! xD
I just love Rin and Sesshomaru together!
