What a shame, isn't it? In my opinion, Mapusaurus is one of the most underrated giant theropods.

Yea I agree, I usually see the larger carnivores that are either famous or have accoutrements like a sail (Acrocanthosaurus) or large teeth (Carcharodontosaurus). Donβt usually see other carnivores like Mapusaurus.

Yep. But there are lot of cool things about Mapusaurus, too. It lived alongside the largest titanosaurs known, and it was one of the largest carcharodontosaurids, being close in size to Giganotosaurus.

bipedal, visible osteodermes, so most likely some abelisauridΒ
