Feel free to ask question by sending me a note if there parts you don't understand.I know there are other better ways to color using a mouse but you guys asked how i did it so here is the step by step tutorial.IMPORTANT!!!
Please check out the preparing line art tutorial first before reading this since i don't want to repeat what i have taught there.

This is a fantastic tutorial. I have always had issues coloring. I sit here and practice like crazy, trying to find something comfortable, and I think this will help me a lot. I too use a mouse for my work, my tablet broke a few years ago and it has become more comfortable for me to do my computer work with a mouse. Thank you very much for this, it is incredibly detailed and doesn't skip the little things, with nice little pictures to help.

thank you for the tutorial
btw, I always wondering how to set my brush like yours, in pict, your brush has a sharp front and end, mine is always just a simple round brush so its hard to make a sharp ending.

Thanks for making this! It's really great.
I've always thought tablet was the only way to get a good picture without screwing. And unfortunately, I don't have one. Thanks!

Is there a way you can do this Open Canvas? That's all I have and I was trying to follow, but once you got to masks, you lost me ~_~. Amazing tutorial, by the way.

Thank you for the tutorial ^_^
It helped me a lot, really, even though I still have a long way to go...
But now I'm quite stuck (and it sucks >.<' because the quick mask isn't working anymore. (it's gray instead of being green and it doesn't select anythin' anymore u_u'
What happened to my photoshop? T__T

I have to read everything later, but this looks like a huge help! I can't afford a tablet now, and I just got photoshop, so I am trying to learn everything including how to color with a mouse.
