Black and white coloured pencil on grey card, 3.5"x5".I was trying to make sketch cards (just want to have a try, I don't suppose anyone will buy it
), so this picture was finally separated into two 3.5"x2.5" cards, with Sam on one and Frodo on another...Seriously, I'm pleased with the result of Frodo, Sam seems a little unlike Sean Astin.

Well, I'm not totally clear about it myself, I think sketch cards are pictures done on a 2.5"x3.5" paper/card/board/whatever, to trade within artists or art lovers.

Well--I think such a small scale makes ALL of it tough--capturing the feeling, the likenesses, the details--every time I try to draw emotion on a tiny face (AAACK!!! **tearing out hair**), I have greater and greater respect for the artists that specialize in sketch cards... Awesome work!
