OHMIGOD! This is fucking brilliant. It reminds me of the game I've been playing recently, Silent Hill 4: The Room.
I love this, especially the animation. However, the only thing I'd change is the order of the frames. I don't know how many actual frames you have, but I think it would look better if you ordered them 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, repeat, instead of 1,2,3,4, repeat. (Just as an example.) So, yeah.
