Sara from Harvest Moon: GB! The first ever female playable character in the Harvest Moon series. She definitely doesn't get enough love from fans!!I thought she would be great for practising landscape. I want to incorporate more scenery in my illustrations. : ]

Loving this for the nostalgia factor. Harvest Moon GBC was my first Harvest Moon, and although I always play as the boy character, I like that Sera gets some love at last! I'm currently playing through HM2 on GBC and looking forwards to playing 3, since the boy and girl characters interact for the first time in that installment.
I like the background in this picture. There's just something very magical about it. Maybe it's because it's such a vast green landscape and it reminds me of the moors we see in England. Looking at it, I can almost hear the whistle of a steam engine in the background.
Put simply, you've done an amazing job with this picture.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your comment! : ) I definitely tried to capture the wistfulness of old Harvest Moon games in this, in both the scenery and her expression. Personally I feel like the old games are the most heart-warming.
Funny you should mention England--I used the landscape here in Scotland to inspire this picture! ; )
