A commission of golden-marrow 's esk Upponen from Fjodor !
I was inspired by Upponen's backstory as a seal dog in the 1920s, and how they may look back fondly, or wistfully, on their old duties.
It was fun to experiment in this style again, thank you Fjodor for commissioning me!

WOW! My mouth has been hanging open for a full minute looking at this! What a masterful use of colour and light to create the scene. WOW! I love the reflection of light in the water and the brush strokes on the clouds. The little yellow flowers of the esk are the perfect complement for this softly lighted scene! What an incredible painting!!!!
