2013.Fan art for TES V: Skyrim.
Once, when in Jorvasskr, I stumbled upon the Companions queueing one after the other on the stairway leading to the living quarters. They did not move for quite a while, and I was suddenly reminded of people waiting at an airport or a railway station. So I pictured them thusly.
With the use of an edited screenshot for the background.
The Redguard is my own character, Kiara, being herself. She always drags Barbas around with her, so I included him too, playing cards with Athis. That poor elf doesn't know what he's in for...

I actually tried to read Vilkas's newspaper. Something about a mudcrab, Clavicus and Barbas, and Brynjolf was all I could make out on the back. The front was easy. And funny.
By the way... WHAT THE HECK IS STICKING OUT OF KIARA'S HEAD!

The newspaper isn't meant to be discernible. It's an Ester Egg.
And that's how I draw sticks and plates in this style.
The point here is that every Companion is passing the time in the queue in his or her own way. And Kiara is being Kiara.
