Description Blackwall yells 'Bandits!' while standing next to a couple of rams. The Inquisitor's logic (this is pre-execution scene, obviously): This guy is my buddy, and I would trust him with my life, and he seems to have his head screwed on right, so if he sees bandits when looking at rams, these rams must be bandits.

If you were to write signatures for T-shirts for each of the classes, what would that be? Especially for warriors... I keep thinking of something along the lines of portable battering rams...

So would you give me permission to use it as a signature for Alice's tabard?

Well, this pun has been brought up in the comments on this comic before, so I am pretty sure no-one can really 'claim ownership' of it. Thus, you are free to do whatever you like!

I will eventually write a FAQ. I must include all the inspiration you give methere!

By the way, "To Hatch a Crow" is finished. Interested?

Thank you so much! And I got a chance to add another sweet font to my collection, yay!
It might take me a while to do some thorough reading, because my contest results are coming up, but at first glance I have to say: Wow! You are an awesome writer! With creative energy and thorough approach to every detail like that, I hope that you start creating your own fictional universes!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Arlesienne In reply to NorroenDyrd [2015-08-27 11:03:59 +0000 UTC]

I love DA-Font .

A contest? Are you participating or organising? Tell me more!

I am equally embarrassed and feeling fuzzy with the information you enjoy the reading. I do have my own universe, I could say, but it is mainly used in stories written for the Polish community. Most of my literary cafe's members speak Polish as their first language, so I only have a few oneshot commissions in English. Besides, I love Polish. It is a beautiful language.

I would be very grateful if we could move onto notes, I would rather not discuss the stories still in development in public - walls have ears and judging from the amount of the dreaded "kink meme prompt" requests spamming my insignificant person (despite firm refusals), there are people who stalk me .

NorroenDyrd In reply to Arlesienne [2015-08-29 14:27:22 +0000 UTC]

Sure; thank you for the interest! I was the organizing party, and now I will be occupying myself with drawing prize art for the winners! Fun times!

Awww, I see! That's great! ^^ Somehow, I find myself better at writing stories in English, perhaps because I've been learning it so long and so stubbornly - but Slavic languages are amazing, aren't they? I don't know a whole lot about Polish, unfortunately, save for recognizing a few shared word roots - but Russian has amazing word-building capacity with all its suffixes and prefixes for conveying subtle shades of meaning. On the other hand, English has my favourite compound adjectives of the ' she gave him a don't-you-dare-do-that-again glare' kind.

You seem like a very interssting person to talk to, so I appreciate any form of conversations, public or private. Even though I might be somewhat slow in replying.

Arlesienne In reply to NorroenDyrd [2015-08-30 13:42:10 +0000 UTC]

I look up to you - custom art as prizes is something extraordinary! I remember so dearly when my dear Gnewi painted this masterpiece after a contest to design new tattoos for one of her (awesome) OCs, Jurre: gnewi.deviantart.com/art/Melis… . You should definitely give her gallery a thorough go. What was your competition's theme?

Yes, all Slavic languages are quite something. I had very rudimentary lessons of Russian ages ago, just from a single (very unpleasant) book. I wish I had had the opportunity to actually learn Russian. I also have my eyes set on Czech... Oh well .

Polish has absolutely brilliant word formation possibilities, you'd like it if you enjoy English! Maybe you could help me learn a few phrases in Russian? I could return the favour with Polish, possibly Spanish too (though I've been learning Spanish for just five years now). Definitely don't feel you are slow in replying - and can you see me blushing all over with your kind words?

PS You will have to redownload "To Hatch a Crow" if you want to read it. I found a few problems with words not being readable.

Wow, :icongenwi:'s gallery sure is amazing! Thank you so much for directing me there!

In my case, the contestants had to draw my original characters while gender-bent. I was really lucky to get some pretty mind-blowing entires!

Sure, if you want something translated, you can poke me! ^^
