Omg this is great!! I had a similar idea running around in my head for a while! Except Sherlock was an altmer from the great house Holmes. He dress and looks basically the same( except taking into account clothing of the age) and mycroft who occupies a minor position in the Thalmor government, (he is the Thalmor government...) who keeps an eye on his black sheep of a brother while he travels. Since the Thalmor is full of idiots. And runs into the dragon born at helgan. She's at the block. He isn't. After he makes mild scene at the empires stupidity. There wasn't any John just my nord dragon born. And they meet later to team up. Making waves all over skyrim. Romance blossoms of course lol I should type it up! After I update my other stories...
