I yell at my loading bars to make them speed up. It doesn't help much, but it makes me feel better

There's a fun thing I do with loading bars where I put the mouse cursor at the end of the loading bar and pretend its lava and I just wait until the lava reaches the mouse cursor :3

Oh, this reminds me of a comic: Troll Loading Bar, wherein the Troll finds a way to make it go faster using Troll Logic. It was great. And I love your stamp. :3

mine used to do that. i blame AMD though. (my cpu is an AMD and its got the heat resistance abilities of a snowflake, combine that with a shitty fan and you have a recipe for disaster!)

Yeah, I got 2010 model, no fan, and like, minecraft, is like fire to my computer, I'll touch it after 3 minutes of minecraft and i got a burn, it'slike touching a tray of freshly backed cookies from the oven... yummy cookies.

hey, i know of a software that can gauge your temperature and the highest it goes before overheating
core-temp. www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
doesnt prevent it, but lets you determine how much of a load each program uses
