One day when you're older you'll see how uninspired and lazy this cat stuff is, and you'll cringe and dwell on it with regret that you only knew how to draw one thing.
I know someone in college that drew sparkle cats, or warrior cats or whatever.
She didn't have a good time because she only drew them and expected to be able to do what the rest of the classmates could, and when she had to start doing humans and different animals she could not. She almost failed many of her classes.
It's just how the art world works, we try to do the same thing over and over again, familiarity is easier and fun so we keep doing it. But this cat obsession is making people regress.
There's a whole world of opportunity and inspiration. You have fallen into a fandom and you won't escape it unless you actually strive to do so.
It's a bad habit. And this "art" floods every art website, I had to sift through literally 6 pages of shitty oc's until I managed to find even one humanoid. Guess what, every animal was a wolf, fox, or cat.

The thing that confuses me is how you do not know about the aspect of the art world where sometimes you must give in to a realm of 'popularity'. Money resides in fandoms, so sometimes we must alter ourselves to fit into a special niche in order to see results. The furry fandom is a prime example of this. There is a lot of money to be had in digital and material content in regards to the fandom. Some people love the style, as shown by its level of popularity. Some artists decide to serve members of the community, where there is a strong accessible market, and begin to grow their skills within that community. This behavior is constant throughout all levels of goods and services, such as the gaming industry, technological advancements and even architecture and literature. Some people may say a lot of this cartoony style was inspired by Disneys animated movies. People often may be inspired by their work and feel a connection to the style, maybe with fond memories of growing up with that kind of content. I am just surprised to see this level of insecurity expressed so repulsively on a site where young artists are being inspired to create at the beginning of their journey.
No matter the level of skill an artist may have, there is always room for change and improvement. That is what art is, it is always changing and maturing.

However, I would like to let you understand the frustration I feel by seeing the same thing over and over and over again on not just this- but every art site. The artist in this case is very good, I don't know why I chose this particular person to comment on, but whatever.
I just want you to look at kodyboy555 on DA and you'll know how I think of the oversaturation of this wolf, cat, and fox stuff.

Regardless of your frustration, it doesn't mean you have a right to go out of your way to attack someone. The only reason I felt the need to step in is because there are a lot of cases of this happening, and some people need to be a little more friendly.
I have seen many mimics in my day, people who not only copy popular artists or are very constant in their artwork but still. Everyone has their own preferences, even if we don't share them. You are not being forced to view someone's work if you dislike it

They all look the same.
The EXACT same. there's not differences in shapes, they all have the same skeleton. The silhouettes are all the same, they are always symmetrical, edgy, terribly thought out garbage piles. The only difference is color, and you people think that that constitutes being original.
The reason that shows, comics, and any form of good media is put on a platform is because they have original characters, clean silhouettes and develop a different style. These wolf and cat furries don't do any of that, they just shitpost to each other day by day, handing each-other the same thing over and over again. Then when they need to apply their lack of skills in any other area they fall apart immediately. And then they complain and say it's everybody else's fault.
