I had one, back in 07'. I got him as a chick who had fell out the nest, he had a pretty bad deformed leg that I helped to heal ^__^ He unfortunately died due to an illness in the same year.

he was so awesome, he impacted on my life quite a lot, i still think about him and miss him everyday. I taught him to say 'hello' and to whistle. heh, he was the most intelligent bird I ever had. I rescued a Jackdaw last year too, corvids are so awesome
