Description
This started out as my third attempt to re-learn Adobe Illustrator, but you know what, screw that program! Ok but maybe it wasn't the best motif or idea to work with when I'm so inexperienced and my "skills" are so unrefined. I've recieved the question "is that made in illustrator?" quite a few times, and I though that maybe I should learn how to make vector graphics since my style apparently already look like it and vectors got a few perks that pixels don't. Problem is though that I'm now pretty sure my "style" rely on several fuctions and tricks Illustrator don't have. Also, I kinda hate how Illustrator got so many icons, names and keys that are identical to Photoshop except that they mean/do something completley different, trying to make sense of all functions in Illustrator is a damn nightmare if you're already used with Photoshop. Anyway, back to this picture, I atleast got some nice basic lineart from using Illustrator, it helped with all the smooth shapes, however all line weight was added in Photoshop (a long with everything else). Despite everything, maybe I'll go back to Illustrator next time I have a motif with a lot of smooth shapes.

About the motif itself, yes it's from Team Fortress 2.

I really like working with this style and colors.
