there must be something that hard to say between Knockout and Breakdown, apart from someone's comment that Knockout did it on Megatron's order..
as for me, what if Breakdown got a kind of virus (or else) that could be dangerous to everyone even Knockout, and the only way to stop the plague to everyone else is to kill himself, and Breakdown asked Knockout to do it?

I just remembered, when i saw the picture again, Breakdown looked confused why Knockout didn't stab him as he saw him cried

Except for the eye patch (which I still take exception to along with Bee's unrepairable voice) it could be Knockout trying to kill Silas.
