Well, it's been a while since I drew anything. Yesterday as I was sitting in the dentist's waiting-room (otherwise known as the devil's own lair) I decided to pull out my trusty paper and pencils. (Yes, THAT is what's hiding in my enormous purse). (Ok, along with everything else you could ever need for survival.) (All right, fine, and everything else you would NOT need for survival...)

In any case.
I remembered the tremendous job my friend did with her recent eye study's...and I was motivated to try one of my own. I knew it'd be rough, as my drawing style has never been much for specific detail (i do way too much blending and shading) but you have to start somewhere right?

So here's my first attempt. - Female eye/sunset reflection
About 4.5 hrs to complete. Graphite (7H, 8B, & HB), Soft Charcoal, and ink pen (celia).

I'm trying to learn here, so any critique appreciated
