"Because you're the one who dragged us all on this 'shortcut', that's why! How did you THINK that lard-ass was gonna get through?!"

"I'm right here," the lard-ass interjected. However, the commotion among the rest of her teammates in the cavern with her continued unabated. Roisin and Diane had descended into a fiery argument between themselves in one chamber, and the shrieking Skye was currently being accosted by a group of Zubat in the other chamber.

That left Laurie wedged firmly in place, halfway through the wall, completely plugging up the passageway connecting them.

The off-track route had seemed only rather rugged to begin with, a case of needing to watch your footing so as not to twist an ankle, before the quartet came to a seeming dead end, Skye finding a small tunnel as the Lanturn lit up the room. Eager to explore, the little Gligar crawled through no trouble at all, as did the taller Staraptor trying to keep her in check.

Then it was the turn of the severely overweight Camerupt. Awkwardly clambering down onto all fours, Laurie began to shuffle her way into the opening, immediately finding it a very, very tight fit. The edges of the hole in the bare rock scraped against her on every side, and while she was able to get her chest and shoulders through on her own after a moment or two, her progress then came to an inevitable halt, as her huge belly and massive hips thumped against the edge of the tunnel. She squirmed and wriggled as much as she could, her arms trembled and her shoes kicked up loose dirt behind her as she struggled to squeeze herself through, but the tunnel stubbornly held onto her, digging hard into her gut.

The others had all added their effort, Roisin and Diane taking an arm each to pull her forward, while Skye was left pushing against the vast expanse of Laurie's backside. But after several minutes of shoving, heaving, tugging and straining, they still couldn't get the big girl to budge even an inch. No matter what they tried, Laurie was just far too fat to fit into the little tunnel.

"Can I not just dig her out of there, then?"

"Diane, I wouldn't trust you to dig a sandpit without bringing this whole place down!"

"NO NO NO THAT'S MY ESCA LEAVE ME ALOHOHOOOONE!!!"

Laurie shrugged gently to herself, and experimentally pushed back a little, seeing if she could reverse out of her current jam. Sadly, the grip of the tunnel on her tummy was too tight, her fat breasts squashed up against the odd angle of the floor, and the volcanic vents on her back clattered softly against the wall behind her. She gave a heavy sigh, as the clamour on either side of her went on and on.

She was gonna be here for a while.
