"And he sticks the landing!" the ferret whispered to himself, as the zipline began its return journey to the platform at the far side of the corridor. Why the doctor hadn't simply gone for stairs, he couldn't work out, but there was no denying this was much more fun. "Nine point sevens from the judging panel," he continued, strolling over to the locked hatch in the floor, "it's gonna be tough for Acorn to beat that score!"

"Snap, please try and focus here," came a stern voice in his ear. "We're not here for stunts, we're here to stop this place coming online! Do you know how many Badniks this factory is capable of producing, just in a single day?"

"Five?" Snap replied.

"It's a LOT more than five," the tinny voice snapped back.

"Six?!" The ferret asked in mock surprise.

"Shut up, and stop goofing around!" The admonishment shot harshly into Snap's ear, sending him recoiling a little. "There should be a security panel down there," the voice explained, as a faint squeak and gentle creaking began to filter in behind them, "just get that open!"

"Yeah, I'm at the panel," Snap said, rolling his eyes a little. "What's the code?"

"It should be seven-two-four-wagh!"

The ferret's brow furrowed a little. He could have sworn he heard something snapping in the background there. "Seven-two-four-what?"

"SNAP, GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!"

That voice was all too clear, echoing all around the industrial walls rather than just in his earpiece. Snap's gaze shot up just in time to notice the monstrously bottom-heavy figure of Sally Acorn plummeting ass-first out of the sky, her outrageous curves barely contained in that two-tone bodysuit that clung to her like a second skin, and still clutching the broken zipline handle.

He barely had time to process the situation before his vision went completely black, and was replaced with the thunderous impact of those two massive chipmunk cheeks crashing at full speed straight into his face.

"And then I woke up here," Snap finished his explanation.

Nicole stared into the ferret's eyes as he sat on the medical bed. "And you say you have no injuries whatsoever?" she asked calmly.

"Nope!" he replied with a grin. "Collapsible skeleton really comes in handy when I'm paired up with Princess Bench Buster!"

Nicole raised an eyebrow at that. "I can't say I've heard of such a thing as a 'collapsible skeleton'," she pondered, "but if it is as useful as you claim, we may pair you up with Sally on future missions, if circumstances allow."

"Sweet!" Snap replied, his grin growing even wider. "What do you think, Sal?"

The princess scowled at the infuriating little ferret, arms folded as she stood on her own in the corner. "That sounds-" she began, before spotting Nicole looking over at her as well.

She hated when Nicole was right about him.

Sally gritted her teeth, and glared daggers over at Snap. "...great..."
