Haha this one time my family and I were driving on a highway and in the car next to us was a lady who wore ridiculously huge sunglasses, and her eyes were looking down at her phone (texting) the ENTIRE TIME! I even said "OOH, SHE'S TEXTING!" and the bitch actually starting making childish faces at me. Really? Keep your eyes on the damn road...

I get after drivers who are texting/talking if I'm in the car with them.

Or, if you're a dumb driver, don't try to drive. Your driving stupidity will find some way to distract you.

My dad told me that once when he was on the freeway, some dumb woman was talking on her phone and nearly drove into a construction site, but still managed to knock over some cones. It's disgusting to see drivers put others at risk.

Lovely stamp. Definitely agree with people who talk on their phone and drive.

It's even worse when I see people texting while driving. It makes me feel completely unsafe to even be on the same road as them.

-nods- Though I think texting still counts as 'on the phone'... -sighs- It should all be illegal

Yup. Well, it is illegal in some states in the US. I know that it's illegal in New York... I don't know about the other states.

YES. Oh my God this drives me insane, especially since now where I live it IS illegal to drive and be on the phone or text or whatever...hands-free devices are the only ones allowed now, and STILL people drive while on the phone.
I don't understand the need to be in constant contact with everybody...O_o

I know, right? A law almost passed round abouts here to make it illegal but some idiot in the state senate voted it down by one vote.

YES.
It's getting to be such a problem that cities are now imposing fines and bans to get people to stop using their cell phone while driving.

I think it should be made illegal all together (with a few exception such as physicians on call) I mean- they've shown the statistics for it, driving distracted is as bad as driving drunk!

Honestly, I think cities may eventually do just that if people keep using their cell phones while driving.
Something I just remembered: don't all cell phones have a built in answering machine service? I know my brother's does.

I think some do but not all (I know my old one didn't). My point is, with features like this in place (and call waiting), it makes me wonder why people keep using the phone while driving. As for texting...surely they can wait.
