Description Ever want a nail polish to match your makeup?? Well heres the easy way

i used lancome foundation powder and tart blush , scraping it using a butter knife, and then using the handle to crush it into a finer dust.

any powdered makeup can be used, originally i saw this idea with eyeshadow.

base coat: orly bonder,
top coat: Essie no chips ahead.

if you dont want to buy a brush just for this use the brush from the top coat, blend the powder well into the polish until desired colour is formed without bumps, then paint on. while brush is still wet wipe it well with a disposable kitchen towel, place back into bottle and shake well before oxygen causes the top coat to harden and ruin the brush

From the thumbnail it looks like you're cooking something in a pot...
Though if you're going to use that much top coat to mix it, you may as well just buy a new polish.

it only seems so much, i used about two drops of top coat and it made enough to cover one hand. ironically as much top coat as youd usually use to cover one hand.

its just an idea. nobody will force you to use it

Have you tried it with any shimmer eyeshadows?

to be honest not yet. i dont actually own any shimmer eyeshadows, but ive seen it done. the girl that showed me though didn't blend it well enough into the top coat so it was much bumpier than mine.

but the blush i used had shimmer in it and laid down very smoothly, so i think its all about the blend.

At first I thought, "Good idea, but my makeup is more expensive than going out and buying a new nail polish."
But then I realized that I have some powdered makeup that came in a set that doesn't work on my skin - but it'll work great on my nails!!
Thanks for the tip!
