Of course I'm going to alter his design a bit. Make it simpler, easier to draw. Changed his ears because I prefer the multiple points over one. There's nothing wrong with his eye, it just looks a little weird so it's covered. Small edits to his skin. BOOOOY I hate drawing necks. My OCs usually have something around their neck because it usually helps me align it a little better ??

More shading teeeests. q v q / A single layer clip test. Single color line art since he's already rly dark. I really appreciate the feedback, by the way !! If you like anything new that I tried, please tell me !! I just tear through a bunch of different techniques and tests. I drop a lot of things without meaning to, too. I've got like a million dif ways of coloring something. I changed my line art brush to be harder, I think I prefer the thicker lines.

Personality things since I've started using him a bit:: His requests usually sound like demands, his voice would stay soft and gentle, but instead of "can you please" it's more of "do that for me". He doesn't talk much and when he does he's a lil choppy. Breaks into panic when things go wrong. When alone, he doesn't smile much, that's something he does for others. Struggles to express.
