Description
A traditional rite to adulthood is to defend yourself or those creatures and belongings precious to you. Depict your Vesper in battle against someone or something, win or lose.While Rune was exploring around his den, he could smell something carried by the wind. A smell of stale death. He saw a skinny figure step into the open. Not fazed by what he was seeing, Ru engaged into a fight with the creature. Ru had never engaged in a fight and did little to no damage to the creature. The creature took a few swipes at Ru but only needed one to pin him down. It loomed over him and Ru could see what was coming next. as the creature's jaws slowly open, it's head suddenly turns to a sound coming from behind itself and Ru took that as a chance to escape and manages to push the creature off before bolting back into the dark forest.
I started this a month or two ago and procrastinated on it until now. I didn't know who Rune should've fought so decided to throw in my oc, "Lobanju"c:

Oh, I know what it feels like.
Once I was trying to do an correct drawing of cat "face" muscles. Since I didn't had an actual model I spent something about an hour looking for some good cat muscle sheme. And when I finally found it wasn't in the position I needed.
Since you had ro suffer even more I'm impressed by your devotion to the art.

I only had few insect exhibition and crab carapace.
Oh and I have few bird bones. My dad uses them to pull tricks on his patients as he is a doctor.

I have foxes, horse, bird, rats, possums, goat, kangaroos, koala,
seahorse and some other stuff I can't think of right now eheh c:

Foxes have all been roadkill which I cleaned myself, the horse I got from a teacher at school,
Birds have been gifted and found dead in nature, possums I've found electrocuted or have fallen
out of trees or off power-lines, the goat I got given by another teacher, kangaroo I was gifted by a friend and
teacher, koala was given to me by a friend and the seahorse was found by my grandfather many years ago then years
later given to me c:

Wow. Quite a colection. A bit sad about their deaths but well, it will happen to all of us some day.
I guess if I tried to get something like this home my family would kick me out... sad...
Well, maybe someday. Right now I have to take advantage of photos to draw correct anatomy.
