Well. I've had this in my favs for awhile but I had to chew on it for a bit. This is an insane, twisted, totally bizzare, incredibly intense, well conceived, superbly executed, absolutely stunning piece of work. This, IMHO [not that anyone listens to me anyway... ], should hang in the Louvre. I have had the pleasure of viewing a great many works of art held in private collections and very few have had the sheer presence of this piece.

with the exception of some grunge edging, all of it is photo. the only editing i did to the image was a selective curve shift, exposure shifting, and a sepia color filter. thanks!

thank you!!! yeah, i was so surprised! but it was worth it. worth the black tempera in my ears for weeks, and worth the horribly stained bathtub...we won't be getting out deposit back, no matter how much we scrub, hahaha
