nothinplz β€” Maturity is not Gender Specific stamp

Description EDIT: I had to remake this stamp because it got confused for girls being more physically matured than boys. So the people who corrected me on that were right. But I was referring to mentally maturing not physically. Because again, even puberty doesn't make a teenager fully matured that quick at the age of 14 or 15. This also refers to how many girls call themselves more mature and act like adults, when in reality, they are just as shallow as most boys. A boy shouldn't automatically be stereotyped as stupid and a girl shouldn't automatically be stereotyped as intelligent. There are boys who are intelligent and girls who are stupid. Like I said a million times, DEPENDS ON THE GODDAMN PERSON!

This is a response to all those "boys take so long to grow up!" or "girls mature alot quicker than boys!" messages that are getting really stupid. So this is pretty much directed to teenage boys and girls.

Once again, accepting constructive criticism but not flame wars.

Of course it does. Infact, I've seen some guys mature more quicker than girls.

ya, some girls make puberty a REALLY big deal... talking about their bodies all day long>_< WHO CARES?! I honestly hate talking about myself. Girls should understand that you can have a fullfleged(is that a word0_o?) body and still have a stupid inmature mind

I don't get why girls do that. Be proud of who you are, not your gender or puberty! And the worst thing is, girls blame boys for their puberty or even call boys "pussies" just because they don't have periods. Seriously, boys have their problems in life too, even if it's not as tough as girls'.

Thanks God someone actually said this. It seems like every person think girls are more mature, but... No, no, no. Girls trying to be like adults because of their puberty act more childish, than guys who don't care. And, no, I don't degrade girls, because, like you already said, it depends only no person. Girls start growing up longer, when it's about physical development, not mental. And maturity has nothing to do with this. I'm a teen girl and I am immature, because I haven't got enough wisdom. And I think in 15 years old it's really hard to be mature, because 15 years is not really a big time and in usual person's life there can't happen enough things to learn life. However, many adults who are 40+ haven't learn basic things...

I couldn't agree more. I don't degrade girls either, but the way they call themselves more mature than boys just because they go through more puberty gets really annoying.

Truth to be said, girls generally just start hitting puberty earlier, and therefore they're considered as mature earlier. But the ammount of time a person needs to "mature" varies between inviduals.

Still not all girls who start puberty early are automatically mature.

Girls are arrogant and think they're mature, it makes me laugh.

I'll admit, I'm not the most mature person, but self righteous girls that I had to be with in school ALWAYS complained/gossiped about some other girl and claimed that they were more mature. :/

in some cases, yes this is true.
my younger sister had a lot of repsonsibility thrown upon her at a young age, and she took it on and still is great with it.
but at a young age, no one gave me any responsibility, and never gave me a chance to prove myself, so even to this day I'm still a bit immature, but I am maturing more and more now.

whereas my step-sisters....
seem to only care about themselves, and two of them already have kids; oldest one has 2 biological and 1 step-daughter, and the second oldest has 1 kid already. and the youngest one (younger than both me and my biological sister) does anything to make things go her way no matter what.
her older sister can't pick her up and expect her to walk 4 blocks home (the same distance she has to go to walk home) but she doesn't want to? lies to her teacher that she's homeless.
her boyfriend wants to break up with her? pay him to stay with her.

seriously, and they said I was immature and would never amount to anything...

I'd have to agree. I can give you an example of women being immature. Let's say a man and woman are in a committed relationship and they live together. The man expresses that he has no desire for children or marriage (nothing wrong with that). The woman will express that she does want children and marriage. Let's say one day they want to have sex. The woman has secretly stopped taking the pill, but lied to the man that she is on the pill and convinced him not to use a condom. Well, two weeks later, she pulls the "Oops, I'm pregnant. I guess the pill failed." bullshit. So now the guy will be held responsible for child support or feel obligated to marry this bitch because of the baby. While the man should've wrapped it up, it was extremely selfish and immature of the woman to lie about being on the pill just to get what she wants. She only took her feelings into consideration instead of her partner's feelings and the well-being of potential children. Oopsing has to be the most criminal thing a woman can do! I realize that men can do it too, but women are the ones who seem to do it more to get children and marriage. And here they say men who don't wanna be fathers are little boys. Bitches!

Yep. They wonder why women don't get taken seriously despite all the efforts from feminism, when the answer is right in front of them. It's them!! They're using immature, unethical, and deceptive ways to get what they want!
