Hi, I just viewed the movie paintings in your gallery and they were good. Keep up the good work! I would be glad if you used my work as an inspiration and sent me the link to your piece when it's finished.

It's very good, but maybe let's try to adjust colors with heroes on horses with background , becouse i think they're too 'light'

This is a beautiful work! Contrary to the other people who commented here, I personnaly like the fact that the light on the white horse is more intense that on the rest of the scene.

In the books, Asfaloth is more than just a mount, he leads Frodo in safety all alone (since his rider Glorfindel stays with Aragorn). Thus seeing him that fair and bright suits in my opinion quite well with Tolkien's world, where the opposition between light (the 'Good') and shadows (the 'Bad') is omnipresent.

Thank you for your comment! Actually your explanation clarifies well the vision which I had when I did this manip. I wanted to create contrast between good and evil characters with the lightning. Although the feedback above made me wonder if the lightning looks too unrealistic.

It's good hear that you like it as it is and you share my original vision.

Awesome job! I love that movie. XD Jonnie does have a point though - the white horse especially could use some shading. But other than that this is pretty cool!

Thanks for using our stock!

(Though you might want to watch out about using screenshots in a manip - some studios really don't like that much)

Thanks for your comment.

In this case I used screenshots as reference for the faces because I couldn't find any proper stocks. Usually I use only stock images in my manips. I don't think it's a big problem here for I'm not going to make any profit with this manip.

No problem!

Hm... I can understand that.

With such intense light sources on the horses and subjects, there would be cast shadows on the environment floor. Right now the environment is separate, making it easy to tell these images are superimposed.

I see your point. That's propably true. It's quite troublesome work to try to create realistic-looking shadows and lightning in photomanips.

Let's see if I have time and patience to fix it. Thanks for the feedback though.
