No, it's not the Ice Climbers' birthday, it's all the characters in these comics' birthdays.
I just threw together that intro together have an excuse to make this a comic, really. 
Believe it or not (and I can hardly believe it) but I uploaded Mario vs. Sonic one year ago. I've been making these things every week for a full year! That's really hard to believe for me...
Here's an odd thing that I noticed: A year has 52 weeks, right? If that's the case, how come this comic is the 55th? Have I somehow been making comics more frequently than weekly? Or did I accidentally skip a few comic numbers somewhere down the line?
Anyway, kudos to you if you've been following these things from the beginning. I have no words to thank you. Except, of course: Thank you!

I hope you're pleased to know that I just created an account on here to comment on your series of brawl snapshots. It surprises me, as well, because it takes EXTREME amounts of motivation for me to do something like this. Feel very proud of yourself. You have motivated me to try and make some type of art that doesn not involve drawing, painting, ect. because i have the art skills of a blind fish.
One question. WHAT THE HELL IS THE ANSWER TO THE FREAKING RIDDLE IN COMIC #54?? I feel exactly like Ganondorf does (only in this instance, though. Ganondorf is evil and deseves to die a slow and painful death.) Help a gamer out and tell me the riddle so I can use the brainpower to focus on more important thing, like defeating Ganondorf or mastering all my favouirte characters in Brawl (just got the game last Sunday.)
Crap, this thing is long. Probably because i'm a writer, not an artist (fictionpress ftw!) i'll leave your poor comment page alone now. and PLEASE tell me the answer to that riddle =3

Also, like I mentioned in the comments for the first comic, I too have no drawing abilities whatsoever. I've tried, I really have, but I cannot draw. I actually had this dA account for something like nine months before I started making these comics, during which time I tried and failed to put up stuff resembling "art".
I mostly consider myself a writer as well. You saying that reminded me that what I should be doing is finishing up the last chapter of my current fan fiction, but I have crazy writers' block on that damn thing.

Your strip might benefit from the "brawl vault" hax. If you want Gordon Freeman or Spyro in your strip, they have them.

Thanks, but no thanks. Maybe if I completely and utterly run out of ideas, but for now I wish to not stray from Brawl more than I already have. 
The only custom character planned to appear in these comics (and who already has appeared) is Wisp. Probably no one else.

My guess would probably be that perhaps you made more than one comic for a couple of the weeks

It must have been the first comics that did it. I'm looking at the publish dates, and I notice that I uploaded "'Save' Me Link" only a day after "Mario vs. Sonic".
It's very possible that giving myself a schedule slowed me down rather than speeding me up.
