Neo is actually quite a cheerful character. He is always willing to talk with anyone who approaches him, let it be for good or bad-- he will never stay quiet if there is something to be said. He enjoys going out and interacting with people rather than sitting down and staying calm without doing a thing. At first he may come as a friendly person because he is always accessible, but that doesn't really mean he wears a smile and a good greeting all the time.

Once they get to know him, or at least spend a couple of minutes around him, they start to notice his actual behavior. Being sort of childish, Neo is used to talking and acting before thinking-- plus, he is always looking for fun. His interests are pretty specific, so he gets bored easily and tries to entertain himself pestering people or plating pranks.

Also, he is not very used to authorities, following orders and all that kind of things, which makes him look like a rebel kid. Actually, he is just naturally mischievous-- but not stupid. If he has to, he will listen, think and then act. But when it comes to just personal life, he will keep acting impulsive and kinda tsundere. He won't let others manipulate him or toy around with him, Neo will defend if being teased and answer back if offended. He may have a sharp tongue but it is pretty normal to him, doesn't exactly do it to annoy or offend others.

Neo is quick to detect little details on his surroundings on people's behavior like to notice that something is out of place, true intentions, lies, etc. but he still can't quite figure out everything he sees to take much advantage of it in time.

He has always being very active and full of energy since he was little, making him really swift on his feet and fast to react.

Neo used to live with two siblings and his mother. He had a pretty decent life except for the constant teasing because of his height. Still he managed to defend himself growing up a bit rebel, specially without an authority like a father to limit him. He was usually a troublesome kid, not exactly a family person.

As soon as he could he left his home to look for new adventures instead of a boring routine day.

He is usually pretty anxious and can't stay calm, so he ends up biting his nails and fingers till they bleed if he can't find something to do quick.

He isn't afraid of talking back to others, even if they are older or more powerful than him.

His name was given to him because because he was a "surprise", an unplanned child. His mother took it as a "gift" and called him like that.
