What fun is alchemy if all you do are Standard Deviations?! To retain my sanity (and perhaps save my interest in alchemy), I decided I needed to theme the Angle Creation Array.When I think of creating an angel, I think of something holy and pure. Then it's locked into a human form.
The scripture in the back is both biblical and historical references to angels.

But then, what will the angel be tied to? One definition of an angel I've read is that angels are empty beings that act solely on God's whim and behalf. So, would we be forcefully tieing a new-born angel to God by activating this circle? Or would we be creating an entity with no purpose, besides being pretty to us?

Depends on your view of an angel. I really like your version; it's almost creepy.
I was thinking of the angel as being a sentient being with a suedo-corporal form. Then you just lock that form in a human being and it, more or less, becomes fully corporal.

It this little realm I created in my mind when I made this array, it all makes perfect sense. Soooo... no? Yes? It's all fiction. Just gotta suspend disbelief.

Its great but simplistic. I think I'm far too heavy on effects, but when I try minimalist, it looks stupid and I end up reverting to heavy abstract...my Dragon Ball GT Wallpaper is the closest thing to minimalist I've ever gotten.

I myself enjoy simplicity in certain aspects such as this. Admittedly, there are tons more effects I could have done, but for time sake and the fact that the person who ordered this hadn't paid up on there end, I kept it like this. However, I don't think I will be doing these again. They are neat, but I do ratherly enjoy a simple transmutation circle. All I need to do is make another transmutation circle.......

I like making the special effects, simply making the Array seems a bit like cheating for me, since I don't have to do much to get the shapes how I want them.

I was going to do red, but I thought it was to hard to see. So I went with yellow-ish.

It's a Latin translation in a Greek font O_o I really need better fonts...
But I had a friend translate it for me.

Any Times Roman serif font will do. If you keep it in Latin, that is. Personally, I'd get it translated into Greek, as they are the older empire. Of course you might want to get an English translation for the present empire that's currently shooting through the tubes.

you should do this kinda thing more often, that looks awesome. and the chosen colorset really suits the purpose, looks like taken from certain manga/anime RPGs ;D
